Roqya Chariya
What is the roqya ? How is it practised? What is legal and what is not? These are just some of the questions many people are asking. In this day and age, there's a lot of information circulating on social networks, and it's hard to sort out what's real and what's not. That's why, today, we're going to shed some light on the subject.
What is roqya chariya?
La Roqya is an Arabic word that translates as“exorcism”in French. It comes from the root “raqa”, which means “to rise”. It is mainly practised by reciting the Qur'an. But there are other methods that can be combined with reading the Holy Book. The roqya is also done through invocations and with the help of prophetic medicine.
However, it is essential to understand that roqya is only a cause of healing. Indeed, only Allah is capable of healing and nothing is done without His Will. It is forbidden to believe that the raqi (person who practices roqia) or anything else gives healing.
L’legal exorcism consists of reading verses from the Qur'an and spitting on the sick person. The whole Holy Book is healing.
However, certain suras and verses were particularly recommended by the Prophet ﷺ. In addition, in association with the divine remedies, Its effectiveness is increased by Allah's permission.
The person affected by witchcraft or any illness should be aware of one important thing. What happens to them only happens by Allah's permission.
One of the purposes of trial is to elevate the servant. So the calamities that befall us help us to know where we stand in our faith.
It is therefore very important to be attached to tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and everything that can bring one closer to the Creator, in apparent and hidden acts. In addition, you must be convinced that Allah is capable of everything and that He is the Healer. This means that even if you do all the causes, the result belongs to Him.
How is legal roqya practised?
We will use the words of the eminent Sheikh Abd Al Aziz Al Rajihi to enlighten you. In fact, among his advice is to strengthen our Tawhid through books (by Sheikh Mohamed Ibn Abdel Wahab). On the other hand, he enjoins us to read books written by reliable people that deal with the roqya.
Shaykh tells us that roqiya is lawful when it meets three conditions:
- Firstly: It must be done with the help of verses from the Qur'ran or lawful invocations.
- Secondly: It is essential to do it in Arabic in an understandable way.
- Third: And finally, you have to be convinced that the roqya is a cause only. Healing belongs to Allah.
He also says that the raqi must meet the following conditions:
- Being Muslim
- Use only lawful invocations or verses from the Qur'an.
- The certainty that roqya is a cause and that the one who heals is none other than Allah.
As far as the patient is concerned, the best thing is for them to do it themselves roqya or treated with remedies licit. Indeed, this is part of the description of the seventy thousand who will enter paradise without judgement.
However, if a person asks for roqiya there is no harm. The proof is that the Prophet ﷺ did roqya and we did it to him.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Seventy thousand people from my community will enter Paradise without any judgment. These are those who do not ask that the Roqya (exorcism), those who do not believe in bad omens (superstition), and place their trust entirely in their Lord.” (Sahih Boukhari 6472)
How to protect and treat yourself with roqya chariya?
Allah Ta’ala nous dit : “Et Nous faisons descendre (par révélation) du Coran, ce qui est une guérison et une miséricorde pour les croyants. Mais cela ne fait qu’accroître la perdition des injustes.” (sourate al isra – verset 82)
First of all, it's important to make your invocations for protection during the day and night. This includes reciting the three protectors (suras al ikhlass, al falaq and an-nass) and ayat al koursi. This is the weapon that our Lord has given us to protect us and warn us of anything that could harm us.
Secondly, you need to read a lot of the Qur'an, particularly Sura Al Baqara and the verses that talk about sorcery. Without forgetting, however, that the Qur'an in its entirety is a cure! In addition, you need to do a lot of dhikr (evocations) and good deeds to get closer to Allah Ta'ala.
The causes of healing also include prophetic remedies used by practitioners (raqi). For example, the nigella, olive oil ajwa datesthe Indian costusthe sene, Zemzem water, the jujube leaves... And you'll find a plethora of remedies in our online shop.
Warning
Nowadays, it has become a business. Some unscrupulous people use this worship to deceive Muslims. They mix the true with the false and manipulate religion to enrich themselves.
Also, some people sell prophetic remedies at exorbitant prices by giving them power. But there is no strength or power except in Allah Ta'ala and He is the only Healer.
And finally, the’legal exorcism is a cure for all ills, whether of the body or the heart. It should therefore be used before any other remedy and with the firm conviction that it is a cure.
